Work in Sub-Saharan Africa Continues to Grow

In 2016, 43 Saline Process trainings took place throughout Sub-Saharan Africa. As a result, there are 945 more healthcare witnesses equipped and envisioned for meeting their patients’ spiritual needs as well at their physical needs. Of  those trained, 248 were also equipped to teach other Christian colleagues as witnesses. And, these were just the ones recorded! More trainings are happening beyond the ones we know. We are excited to see what God is doing in and through the lives touched by the Saline Process Witness Training Program.

Enjoy this quick clip from Mary Oyondi sharing what she learned at a training in Kenya in 2016 and how she believes it will impact her care of patients in her community.

TRANSCRIPT: "My name is Mary Oyondi from Kisii, Kenya. I want to thank God for giving me a chance to attend a Saline Process course in Nakuru. Through this training, I've learned more about me as a Christian--being the salt to the world and a light to my world. And, as that salt, I need to be that salt that will taste good. As a light to the world, I need to be a light that will shine in the dark world. Many Christians, we read the word of God but we don't go out to shine for God. But through this course, I'll be the light of God especially to the sick in the hospital and the needy in our community. Thank you."
