Our Calling

IHS Global exists to equip believers around the world to fulfill our calling from Jesus…

"…You will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

Acts 1:8b

Notice that Jesus said we will be witnesses. The goal of IHS Global’s witness trainings is to equip believers as witnesses, freeing them up to live for Jesus and talk about Jesus anywhere and with anyone.

"I learned to be a witness, not to witness.”

—a Christian ministry worker

Our Vision

For every person to encounter the love and reality of Jesus through His witnesses.

Our Mission

To equip and mobilize believers as witnesses for Jesus in healthcare and beyond.

We accomplish this through the Saline Process™ (specific to healthcare) and the Salt & Light Process™ (for all Christians).  We are dedicated to equipping believers to

  • Discern where others are on their faith journeys,

  • Join them there, and

  • Guide them one step or many steps toward Jesus.

Our Model

Taking our Cues from…
THE WOMAN AT THE WELL

John 4

Come, see… were the first words of the “woman at the well” as she ran through her village telling people about the man she had just met.

The result? Many townspeople believed. She had found Living Water and told others!

When the disciples returned to the well, Jesus spoke of sowing and harvesting. He told them,

“Thus, the saying, ‘One sows
and  another reaps’ is true.
I sent you to reap what you
have not worked for. Others
have done the hard work,… “

At IHS Global,

We realize that cultivating and sowing have great value and are essential for harvest.

We celebrate people taking even the smallest step toward Jesus.

We are joyfully amazed that God chooses to use His broken people. He takes our efforts and works them for His purposes.

Jesus said, “the sower and the reaper may be glad together.”  Therefore we pray for the next witness that God brings along, that he/she will continue to cultivate or sow, or even harvest!

Our Values

IHS Global is committed the words of 1Peter 4: 7-11

To Pray
To Love
To Serve

The end of all things is near. Therefore be alert and of sober mind so that you may pray.  Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.  If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.
