Legacies of Love

When the time drew near for Israel to die, he called for his son Joseph and said to him, “If I have found favor in your eyes, put your hand under my thigh and promise that you will show me kindness and faithfulness.” Genesis 47:29 NIV

When leaving a legacy, we often celebrate the wise transfer of generational wealth. Yet, we do not often talk about leaving legacies of faith and love. Before his death in Genesis 47, Jacob’s chief interests were kindness and faithfulness, not wealth.

A legacy of kindness and faithfulness? Now, those are treasures worth passing on.

Will you join me in carefully and intentionally preparing for the legacies we leave behind?

Sharing the journey with you,

Bob Snyder
